- Most Popular Wedding Months: May
May is considered one of the most popular wedding months for couples. May brings warmer weather and calls for more outside weddings. The saying goes "April showers bring May flowers" and beautiful flowers in bloom also make May a very colorful-bright month for nuptials. If you are planning your wedding in May, you are certainly in for a treat. Just a precaution, some venues are more expensive in May versus other months due to popularity. So, keep that in mind when searching for a venue and budgeting. Happy Wednesday Loves,
- Top Wedding Song (Tara's Pick)
Brides walk down the aisle to this very touching love song. Grooms get your tissue or handkerchiefs ready. This song basically sums up the sentimental love a man shares with his woman. (Click image to listen to song)
- Wedding Budget
Discussing a budget is one of the most important topics when planning your wedding. It sets the foundation for all things wedding such as the venue, stationery, decor, catering, and so much more. A good wedding planner will offer advice and suggestions for their clients to stay on track and within budget. I advise my clients to create an Excel spreadsheet with columns for projected costs and actual costs along with a list of vendors and items needed for the wedding. This is a great aid for couples to see things in a broader spectrum when attempting to stay within an estimated budget. Write down or type a list with everything expected for your wedding and get those budgets flowing. Happy budgeting Loves,
- Top Wedding Songs (Trending Now)
These songs are perfect for walking down the aisle or even playing during the reception. First, is Allen Stone's "Consider Me" - the video focuses on a couple getting married but having "cold feet" as they prepare their vows, and the man can sanggg! Don't want to give too much away, but definitely check out the video and lyrics The next song to add to your list is Muni Long's "Hrs and Hrs" - this song has been widely popular on TikTok and other social media outlets. Muni's (Priscilla Renea's) vocals are truly what RnB has been missing, and this song shows just that. I would recommend this song as the bride makes her entrance or for the couples' first dance (perfect for either).

Commonly, this challenge would start January 1st, but whenever you start is fine too. There are downloads and printable images online (see example below) to help you keep track of your savings. Just think if you and your fiancé together are saving; together at the end of week 52, you should save a total of $2756...nice! Happy Saving Loves!
- "Creative Vision" Bouquets
My clients Dazmine & Salena O'Neal's beautiful burgundy hues and sunflowers bouquet. I created a "trial" bouquet for Dazmine, and honestly I just wasn't feeling it. Dazmine proceeded to tell me to be do my thing with them and that "they don't like stopping people's creativity". Say less, because that is exactly what I did after getting to know them a little better I was able to tap into the vision their spouse were looking for.
